Russia shells hospital and kindergarten in Sumy region

This was announced by the head of the Sumy Regional State Administration, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi.

Esman, Myropillia, Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia and Krasnopillia communities of the Sumy region came under Russian shelling. In total, Russian forces fired 226 shells and mines.

In the Myropillia community, there were two mortar attacks from 120 mm caliber (37 arrivals). The Russian forces hit the Shalyhyne community with barrel artillery. 30 arrivals were recorded.

"The Russian forces hit the Khotin community simultaneously with 122 mm self-propelled guns (4 shells) and mortars (13 mines). A hospital and a kindergarten were damaged by shelling. A fire is raging in the hospital," Zhyvytskyi writes.

12 arrivals from mortars from the territory of Russia and another 13 from self-propelled guns in the Yunakivka community are known. Russian forces shelled the Bilopillia community with mortars (15 strikes).

Russian army shelled the border area with 120 mm self-propelled guns in the Krasnopillia community are known. 20 shells exploded.
