It is noted that last night the Russian army fired on Kherson from the temporarily occupied left bank of Dnipro River.
Residential areas in the central part of the city came under fire.
According to the official, a 71-year-old man sustained moderate injuries as a result of the enemy attack. He is currently hospitalised.
Later, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, clarified that the Dnipro district of Kherson was under Russian attack at night.
In the middle of the night, the Russian army attacked the house of an elderly couple. They also hit the bedroom where the husband and wife spent the night. The injured man sustained blast trauma, leg injuries and bone fractures. Doctors assess his condition as moderate.
One of the educational institutions also came under fire. The building's windows and gym were damaged.
