Russia shells border of Sumy and Chernihiv regions over a hundred times

Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service reported the information.

"The enemy inflicted fire using rocket and barrel artillery, as well as 120-mm mortars. The Krasnopillia, Miropillia, Bilopillia, Esman and Shalyhyne communities of the Sumy region and Semenivka of the Chernihiv region came under enemy fire," the report says.

The shelling was reportedly launched from the Russian settlements of Kurkovichi, Lokot, Kozino, Gorodishche, Tiotkino, Plekhovo and Dronovka. 

• On January 1, Russian troops fired artillery at the border areas of the Sumy region from the territory of Russia twice.
