Russia sends no "peace memo," only more missiles, – Sybiha
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha stated that as of June 1, Russia has not sent any memorandum regarding peace, but continues to carry out massive strikes on Ukraine
Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andriy Sybiha, stated on June 1 that Russia has not sent any memorandum regarding peace, but continues its massive shelling of Ukraine.
He shared a video with the sounds of anti-aircraft defense fighting off Russian strikes above his and thousands of other Ukrainian homes this morning.
The minister emphasized that since last night, Ukraine has been subjected to massive air attacks. Ballistic, cruise, and cluster missiles, as well as hundreds of drones, are attacking people across the country.
"Although Russia claims it is preparing for meetings to discuss peace, in reality, it is striking, terrorizing, and destroying. By the way, regarding these meetings, Russia still hasn't sent us, Turkey, the United States, or anyone else its so-called memorandum. No one even knows what they plan to discuss. Instead, Russia is carrying out new deadly strikes against Ukraine," said the head of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry.
He stressed that, unlike the mythical "memorandum," we can clearly see and hear Russia's real "messages" – its missiles and drones.
"Everyone needs to hear and see that Russia completely rejects peace, ceasefire, and any constructive proposals from around the world. They will start taking peace seriously only when they feel a different level of pressure," Sybiha concluded.
