Russia sends new batch of S-400 to Belarus
Belarus’ Ministry of Defense has announced that it has received a set of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems from Russia. It has been brought to the 25th missile arsenal in the Minsk region
The Belarusian Ministry of Defense reported the information.
"Another set of the S-400 air defense missile system has arrived in the Republic of Belarus. In the near future, the complex will be on combat duty. At the training grounds in Russia, Belarusian anti-aircraft gunners have completed a full course of training for the combat use of the system. The servicemen are ready to practice their knowledge and skills in practice to ensure the military security of Belarus and the Union State as a whole," the statement said.
The transfer was carried out within the framework of military and military-technical cooperation between Russia and Belarus.
According to the Belarusian Hajun monitoring group, in the afternoon of May 28, an echelon carrying S-400s was spotted near Kolasava (Stoubtsy district, Minsk region).
After that, the echelon with the SAMs arrived at the territory of the 25th Rocket and Artillery Arsenal (military unit 25819), located near the village of Navakolasava village (Stoubtsy district district, Minsk region).
