Viktor Bobyrenko, an expert of the Bureau of Policy Analysis, shared the information on Espreso TV.
Russia supplements unfit for combat units that are on rotation with recently mobilized recruits, and sends them to fight near the northern border of Ukraine, where hostilities are not so intense. According to Viktor Bobyrenko, this is how Russia tries to increase their combat coordination.
"They seem to be in field conditions, but they do not conduct any intense combat actions, but coordinate so that the recruits can merge with those units. As soon as the coordination phase passes, they return to the zones of more intense combat operations," the expert explained.
