Head of the Ukrainian President's Office Andriy Yermak reported this on Telegram.
The Oxis tanker received 1 million barrels of Urals oil from a sanctioned tanker in the Gulf of Oman.
Yermak noted that tactics include disabling tracking systems and transmitting false location data, complicating international monitoring. This highlights the effectiveness of sanctions, as they force Russia to use complex and risky schemes for oil export.
The head of the President's Office emphasized that rising risks and costs mean problems for their sector.
"But sanctions need to be strengthened," Yermak emphasized.
- The United Kingdom has added 11 tankers to the sanctions list of Russia's "shadow fleet" that are involved in the transportation of Russian oil or oil products to third countries.
