This was reported by Petro Andriushchenko, an advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, on Espreso TV.
"The Russians are building something. In fact, there is a lot of noise and dissatisfaction in the city because construction for mortgages has begun, which is designed for Russians. The goal there is to misappropriate Russian budget money, but this indicates that no one is going to take care of Mariupol residents," he said.
Andriushchenko added that people are left without homes.
"This is getting worse because Russian regions have started to return Mariupol 'refugees' home. These are not very wealthy regions. Tambov recently returned the first 30 people to Mariupol. People were told that they saw on TV that everything had been restored and sent home. Out of the 30 people who came back, 24 have no house at all, as the Russians have already destroyed it. People are wandering around the city and don't know where to go," summarized the mayor's advisor.
In April, it became known that in the Mariupol district of Donetsk region, Russian invaders were evicting local residents from their villages to accommodate their military.
