Russia receives new batch of Iranian drones and intensifies attacks after lull - Ukraine’s Defense Forces
The Russians were expecting a new batch of Iranian kamikaze drones, and this explains the recent lull. Now Russia is ready to launch new attacks
Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, said this at the national marathon on April 20.
"They have been accumulating reserves. We see that their missile stockpiles, which have been brought to a critical minimum, are forcing them to take such pauses and look for new ways to put pressure on the rear areas of Ukraine. That is why they took such a pause while waiting for an additional batch of Iranian kamikaze drones. Now they have received the UAVs and are starting to use them," said Humeniuk.
According to the official, it was the new batch that recently attacked Mykolaiv and Odesa regions - the UAVs have a new marking.
