Russia plans to open propagandists training center in Berdiansk

Russian occupation authorities plan to open pedagogical universities in Berdiansk, where they will rapidly train history and Russian language "teachers" for schools.

This is reported by the National Resistance Center at Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces.

"The occupiers use schools as a center for brainwashing Ukrainian children, and soon plan to open a center for training "teachers" of history and Russian language for such schools," the statement said.

Most Ukrainian educators refused to work for Russia, so it brought its own "teachers" to the temporarily occupied territory, who engage in the Russification of Ukrainian children.

"However, this did not solve the problem. Most Russians come there on a rotational basis because of a higher salary than Russia offers. However, they do not want to stay on a permanent basis, because they are not sure that the region will belong to Russia in the future. Thus, the occupiers want to open pedagogical universities on the temporarily occupied territory, where they will be training "new teachers" at a rapid pace," the Center states.

Russian occupation authorities reportedly plan to open the first such "educational institution" in Berdiansk, where, according to the plan, current teachers of history and Russian language will be retrained by September 1.

"The priority of the selected specialists clearly demonstrates what the "Russian school" emphasizes, namely studying Russian language and "proper history"," the Center adds.

The Center calls on residents of the temporarily occupied territories not to send their children to the centers of Russian propaganda.

"Note that Russian education is a path to nowhere. There are no prestigious universities in Russia, and educational exchange programs are unavailable due to the gradual isolation of the terrorist country," the statement reads.
