Russia offers China weapons support in any conflict with Taiwan, hopes for new war to take eyes off Ukraine

Volodymyr Jabarov, the first deputy chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the Federation Council, told the state news agency TASS about the intention to help China with weapons.

"Russia has no reason to refuse assistance to the People's Republic of China in the event of an armed conflict in Taiwan, if they ask for it," the elected representative said.

The opposition Russian Telegram channel ChTD notes that the day before the same official said that Russia, if necessary, would provide military aid to friendly Serbia.

"From the creators of the legend 'we will take Kyiv in three days'. Putin has been at war with Ukraine, let's remind you, for almost six months," Russian oppositionists add.
