Russia may attempt Zaporizhzhia region advance, but it will fail – military expert
The Russian army will not succeed in large-scale offensives in the Zaporizhzhia direction, but they may launch a local attack, which will not be effective
Military expert Oleksandr Kovalenko told about this on Espreso TV.
According to the military expert, the Russian occupiers are facing a major problem on the southern bridgehead, especially in the left bank of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. They lack full-time units, as well as sufficient equipment and ammunition. The situation is particularly dire in these areas.
Kovalenko emphasized that no large-scale offensive actions in the Zaporizhzhia direction are going to happen.
“In the event of a targeted attack on specific settlements such as Orihiv or Huliaipole, the occupiers may be able to proceed with appropriate forces and means. However, their offensive actions will be ineffective due to the lack of technical components in the area of Piatykhatky, where almost 11 BTGr are present. Despite their potential for force accumulation, the absence of equipment will hamper their offensive actions,” he concluded.
