Russia may attack Odessa from the territory of the occupied Transnistria - Trukhanov

The mayor of Odessa, Gennadiy Trukhanov, said this at a briefing, Espresso.TV reports.

"The aggressor plans to take our city through Voznesensk from Transnistria. Thus, the city will be cut off and cordoned off. We also assume that, maybe, at that time, Russian military landing ships will come up and cordon off our city from the sea", Trukhanov said. 

According to him, the city is preparing for a possible encirclement, strategic stocks of food and medicine are being created.
