Russia may attack Kyiv with missiles on May 9 – military expert Svitan
Roman Svitan, a military expert, AFU reserve colonel and military pilot-instructor, notes that tonight Ukrainians should be extremely careful, because Russian missiles with a range of more than 2,000 km can reach any place
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"Kyiv is a landmark city for Russians, so they will try to set it on fire to show the domestic audience at least some kind of "positive victory" for them. The enemy did not succeed in the strike planned by the Russian Federation with a Kinzhal missile on the Verkhovna Rada, because on May 4 at 2:30 a.m. our air defense system shot down the missile over the Kyiv region. And a day before, on May 3, at 2:30 a.m., there was a staged attack on the Kremlin dome. The people who staged the attack on the Kremlin dome were also involved in an attempt to hit the Verkhovna Rada with the Kinzhal. They failed, so the Russian Federation is trying to use some mechanisms to block the negative after the "attack" on the Kremlin," the military expert explained.
Roman Svitan added that since Russia did not fulfill its tak it launches Shahed drones at Kyiv.
"The next enemy attack is likely to be tonight. The enemy will try to reach Kyiv with a large-scale cruise missile attack. The enemy has Tu-95s and Tu-165s ready, about 50 Kh-101 and Kh-555 missiles left, and Russians can add missiles of another level to create a massive attack. Tonight, Kyiv and the whole of Ukraine should be extremely careful, because missiles with a range of more than 2,000 kilometers can reach any place," Svitan warned.
