Russia losses 800 soldiers, air defense system, 14 artillery systems in one day of war in Ukraine — General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to November 10, 2023, amounted to:

• personnel - about 309,520 (+800 per day)

• armored fighting vehicles - 10,017 (+3)
• artillery systems - 7,489 (+14) 
• MLRS - 877 (+2)
• air defense systems - 578 (+1)
• aircraft - 322

General Staff report: Russian army conducts assault operations in the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces hold defense

This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed. 

In the northeastern border area, Russian forces maintain a grouping of troops covering the state border, conducting active sabotage activities in the border areas to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In Kupyansk direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful assault operations near Synkivka, Kharkiv region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled about 7 attacks there.

In Lyman direction, Russian troops conducted assault operations near Stelmakhivka and Novoyehorivka, Luhansk region, but were unsuccessful.

In Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled about 10 attacks near Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka and Andriivka, Donetsk region. Ukraine's defense forces continue to inflict losses in manpower and equipment on Russian troops, and are consolidating their positions.

In Avdiivka direction, Russian troops keep trying to surround Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line and inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Russian forces conducted assault operations southeast of Novokalynove, Avdiivka and Pervomayske, Donetsk region, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 9 attacks.

In Marinka direction, Russian troops laucnhed unsuccessful assault operations near Marinka and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region. The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled over 25 attacks.

In Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful assault operations south of Zolota Nyva and Staromayorske, Donetsk region.

In Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 4 attacks near Verbove and Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

In Kherson direction, the Ukrainian Defence Forces conduct counter-battery operations, destroy Russian depots and successfully strike at the enemy's rear.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces are conducting an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces, consolidating their positions and exhausting Russian troops.

Russian army launches 2 missile and 26 air strikes on Ukraine

Over the past day, 69 combat clashes took place on the frontline.

In total, Russia launched 2 missile and 26 air strikes, and 62MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. In addition, at night, the Russian occupiers launched another air strike against Ukraine, using 5 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 4 UAVs.

Russian troops launched air strikes on 12 settlements across Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.

Over 125 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under Russian artillery fire.

Ukrainian defense forces destroy 2 Russian control points and 4 artillery vehicles

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation carried out 4 strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment.

Ukrainian missile troops destroyed 2 Russian control points, 4 artillery pieces and an electronic reconnaissance station.

• ISW analysts note that the Ukrainian Defense Forces cut the Oleshky-Nova Kakhovka road in the Kherson region and created additional logistical problems for the Russian occupiers in this area.
