Russia loses about 49,800 soldiers, 2,068 tanks, 236 aircraft and 1,157 artillery systems since starting full-scale invasion of Ukraine - Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to September 5 amounted to:

•  personnel - about 49,800 (+300 per day) 

•   tanks - 2,068 (+19) 

•   armored fighting vehicles - 4,459 (+29) 

•   artillery systems - 1,157 (+10)

•   MLRS - 294

•   air defense systems - 156 

•   aircraft - 236

•   helicopters - 206

•   vehicles and tank trucks - 3,286 (+10) 

•   ships/boats - 15

•   UAV operational-tactical level - 867 (+3)

•   special equipment - 43 

•   cruise missiles - 107 (+1) 

Russian forces suffered the greatest losses over the past day in the Donetsk direction.
