Russia loses about 44,100 soldiers, 1,886 tanks and 792 drones since starting war in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to August 17 amounted to:

•  personnel - about 44,100 (+200 per day) 

•   tanks - 1,886 (+6)

•   armored fighting vehicles - 4,162 (+10) 

•   artillery systems - 993 (+4)

•   MLRS - 263 

•   air defense systems - 136

•   aircraft - 233

•   helicopters - 196 

•   vehicles and tank trucks - 3,054 (+5) 

•   ships/boats - 15

•   UAV operational-tactical level - 792 (+2)

•   special equipment - 93 (+1)

•   cruise missiles - 190 

On August 16, Russian forces suffered the greatest losses in the Kharkiv and Donetsk directions.
