Russia loses about 42,300 soldiers, 1,811 tanks and 754 drones since starting war in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to August 8 amounted to:

•  personnel - about 42,340 (+140 per day) 

•   tanks - 1,811 (+6)

•   armored fighting vehicles - 4,070 (+15) 

•   artillery systems - 960 (+2)

•   MLRS - 261 (+1)

•   air defense systems - 132 

•   aircraft - 223

•   helicopters - 192 (+1)

•   vehicles and tank trucks - 2,993 (+15) 

•   ships/boats - 15

•   UAV operational-tactical level - 754 (+4)

•   special equipment - 86 

•   cruise missiles - 182

On August 7, Russian forces suffered the greatest losses in the Donetsk directions.
