Russia loses about 41,000 soldiers, 932 artillery systems and 736 drones since starting war in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to August 1 amounted to:

•  personnel - about 41,030 (+200 per day) 

•   tanks - 1,768 (+5)

•   armored fighting vehicles - 4,011 (+7) 

•   artillery systems - 932 (+16)

•   MLRS - 259

•   air defense systems - 117 

•   aircraft - 223

•   helicopters - 190 

•   vehicles and tank trucks - 2,912 (+10) 

•   ships/boats - 15

•   UAV operational-tactical level - 736 (+1)

•   special equipment - 82 (+2)

•   cruise missiles - 174

Russian forces suffered the greatest losses in the Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region - Ed.) and Donetsk directions.
