Russia loses about 40,670 soldiers, 1,759 tanks and 733 drones starting war in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to July 30 amounted to:

• personnel - about 40,670 (+170 per day) 

• tanks - 1,759 (+10)

• armored fighting vehicles - 3,995 (+8) 

• artillery systems - 906 (+6)

• MLRS - 258 

• air defense systems - 117 

• aircraft - 222

• helicopters - 190 

• vehicles and tank trucks - 2,889 (+19) 

• ships/boats - 15

• UAV operational-tactical level - 733 (+2)

• special equipment - 78 (+1) 

• cruise missiles - 174

On July 29, Russian forces suffered the greatest losses in the Donetsk direction.
