Russia loses about 40,500 soldiers, 1,749 tanks and 731 drones starting war in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to July 29 amounted to:

•  personnel - about 40,500 (+270 per day) 

•   tanks - 1,749 (+7)

•   armored fighting vehicles - 3,987 (+8) 

•   artillery systems - 900(+6)

•   MLRS - 258 

•   air defense systems - 117 

•   aircraft - 222

•   helicopters - 190 

•   vehicles and tank trucks - 2,870 (+16) 

•   ships/boats - 15

•   UAV operational-tactical level - 731 (+2)

•   special equipment - 77 (+2) 

•   cruise missiles - 174

On July 29, Russian forces suffered the greatest losses in the Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region - Ed.) direction.
