Russia loses about 40,070 soldiers, 726 drones and 190 helicopters starting war in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to July 27 amounted to:

•  personnel - about 40,070 (+200 per day) 

•   tanks - 1,738 (+1)

•   armored fighting vehicles - 3,971 (+12) 

•   artillery systems - 883 (+3)

•   MLRS - 258 

•   air defense systems - 117 

•   aircraft - 222

•   helicopters - 190 (+1)

•   vehicles and tank trucks - 2,847 (+12) 

•   ships/boats - 15

•   UAV operational-tactical level - 726 (+4)

•   special equipment - 75 

•   cruise missiles - 174

On July 26, Russian forces suffered the greatest losses in the Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region - Ed.) direction.
