Russia loses about 40,000 soldiers starting war in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to July 25 amounted to:

•  personnel - about 39,700 (+180 per day) 

•   tanks - 1,730 (+8)

•   armored fighting vehicles - 3,950 (+8) 

•   artillery systems - 876 (+7)

•   MLRS - 255 (+2) 

•   air defense systems - 113

•   aircraft - 222 (+1)

•   helicopters - 188

•   vehicles and tank trucks - 2,832 (+9) 

•   ships/boats - 15

•   UAV operational-tactical level - 719 (+5)

•   special equipment - 73 (+1)

•   cruise missiles - 174 (+4)

Also, Defense Express analyst Serhiy Zgurets has said that due to the destroyed bridges in the Kherson region, Russian forces may begin to retreat from the right bank of the Dnieper.
