Russia loses about 36,900 soldiers, 1,637 tanks and 669 drones starting a war in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to July 8 amounted to:

•  personnel - about 36,900 (+250 per day) 

•   tanks - 1,637 (+35)

•   armored fighting vehicles - 3,811 (+14) 

•   artillery systems - 828 (+13)

•   MLRS - 247 

•   air defense systems - 107 

•   aircraft - 217 

•   helicopters - 187 

•   vehicles and tank trucks - 2,685 (+17)

•   ships/boats - 15

•   UAV operational-tactical level - 669 (+2)

•   special equipment - 66 

•   cruise missiles - 155

Russian forces suffered the greatest losses over the past day in the Kramatorsk (Donetsk region - Ed.) direction.
