The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report on May 8, as below.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24,2022, to May, 8, 2023, amounted to:
- personnel - about 194,970 (+540 per day)
- tanks - 3,730 (+7)
- armored fighting vehicles - 7,253 (+5)
- artillery systems - 3,018 (+8)
- MLRS - 554
- air defense systems - 306
- aircraft - 308
- helicopters - 294
- vehicles and tank trucks - 5,958 (+6)
- ships/boats - 18
- UAV operational-tactical level - 2,614 (+42)
- special equipment - 384 (+4)
- cruise missiles - 947
