Russia loses 5 T-72 tanks, armored car, mortar and two artillery installations
Over the past day, Russian forces have lost 5 T-72 tanks, one Tigr armored vehicle, a Tyulpan mortar and two Pion self-propelled guns in the Bakhmut direction
This was reported by the AFU Eastern Group spokesman Serhiy Cherevaty during a telethon broadcast.
According to him, Bakhmut remains the main target of the Russian attack. Cherevaty noted that during the day, Russians hit the Bakhmut area 167 times with various types of rocket-propelled artillery.
"212 Russian soldiers dead and 315 wounded after 41 skirmishes. In the city itself there were 48 attacks and 19 armed encounters. There were battles in the area of Torske, Fedorivka, Ivanivka and Chasiv Yar," the spokesman said.
There are battles ongoing in the Lyman direction and Luhansk region. Cherevaty said that the enemy has been suffering record losses for several days.
"They shelled the area 424 times with various types of artillery; there were 23 armed encounters, which resulted in 69 Russian soldiers killed and 126 wounded," Cherevaty said.
The spokesperson emphasized that the number of Russian losses is serious.
