Russia loses 4 tanks, 14 artillery systems, 880 soldiers in one day of war in Ukraine — General Staff

Frontline update: Russian troops attack in several directions, Ukrainian Armed Forces repel enemy attacks
In total, according to the General Staff, about 70 combat clashes took place on the frontline over the past day.
In the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.
In the northeastern border area, Russian forces maintain a grouping of troops covering the state border, conducting active sabotage activities in the border areas to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In Kupyansk direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful assault operations with the support of aviation near Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Ivanivka, Kharkiv region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled about 10 attacks there.
In Lyman direction, Russian troops did not conduct offensive (assault) actions, they continued to regroup their troops.
In Bakhmut direction, Russian soldiers tried to regain lost ground near Klishchiivka and Andriivka, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 5 attacks. Russian troops also conducted unsuccessful assault operations near Bohdanivka, Khromove and Pivdenne in the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian soldiers repelled another 5 attacks. In turn, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on Russian soldiers, and consolidating their positions.
In Avdiivka direction, Russian troops, with the support of aviation, keep trying to surround Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on Russian forces. Thus, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled about 10 attacks near Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne and Pervomaiske, Donetsk region.
In Marinka direction, Russian troops carried out unsuccessful attacks near Marinka and another settlement in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian soldiers repelled over 20 attacks.
In Shakhtarsk and Zaporizhzhia directions, Russian troops conducted assault operations northwest of Verbove, Robotyne, north of Nesterianka and Pyatikhatky in Zaporizhzhia region, but were unsuccessful.
In Kherson direction, the Ukrainian Defence Forces conduct counter-battery operations, destroy Russian depots and successfully strike at the enemy's rear.
The Ukrainian Defence Forces are conducting an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces, consolidating their positions and exhausting Russian troops.
At night, Russian troops attacked southern Ukraine with missiles and Shahed UAVs
In total, Russia launched 6 missile and 70 air strikes, and 76 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
Russia also attacked Ukraine once again, using 2 Kh-59 guided missiles, an Iskander-M ballistic missile, an Oniks anti-ship missile, 2 Kh-31 guided missiles and 22 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. The strikes targeted the port infrastructure of the Odesa region and civilian infrastructure in Kherson. Ukrainian air defense destroyed two Kh-59 missiles and 15 attack UAVs. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties. A multi-storey building, port infrastructure, road transport and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
Russian troops launched air strikes on 20 settlements across Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.
Over 90 settlements in Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under Russian artillery fire.
Ukrainian Defense Forces strike at 15 Russian personnel concentrations
Over the past day, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out 10 strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment. Ukrainian air defense forces also destroyed 4 reconnaissance UAVs.
Ukrainian missile troops destroyed 3 artillery units and 5 concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment.
