Russia loses 28,300 soldiers, 1,251 tanks, 202 aircraft and 441 drones - Ukrainian General Staff 

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24 to May 18 amounted to:

•  personnel - about 28,300 (+400 per day) 

•   tanks - 1,251 (+16) 

•   armored fighting vehicles - 3,043 (+34) 

•   artillery systems - 586 (+8)

•   MLRS - 199 (+1)

•   air defense systems - 91 (+1)

•   aircraft - 202 (+2)

•   helicopters - 167 

•   vehicles and tank trucks - 2,137 (+28) 

•   ships/boats - 13

•   UAV operational-tactical level - 441 (+5)

•   special equipment - 43 

•   cruise missiles - 102 (+5)

Russian forces suffered the greatest losses over the past day in the Slovyansk, Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhya directions.
