Over the past day, the occupying Russian army lost at least 1,560 troops in the war against Ukraine. The Ukrainian defense forces also destroyed 8 Russian tanks and 42 artillery systems

Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to March 18, 2025, are approximately:

- On March 16, Ukrainian frontline forces eliminated at least 1,210 Russian soldiers, along with multiple vehicles and weapon systems.
