Russia launches over 7 missile, 25 air strikes on Ukraine in the last 24 hours - Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff

The General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces shared the information on Facebook.

"There is still a threat of air and missile strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine. The Russian occupiers launched more than 7 missile and 25 air strikes on military and civilian objects on the territory of Ukraine in the last 24 hours. For this purpose, they conducted up to 20 combat flights. In particular, infrastructure in Kharkiv, Velyki Prohody, Bilogirka, Kostromka, Sukhyi Stavok and Bezymenne has been damaged," the message says.

The invading Russian forces continue to focus their efforts on the full occupation of Donetsk region and holding the temporarily occupied areas of other regions, intensively conduct aerial reconnaissance by drone and try to improve logistics support for their troops.

The situation in the Volyn and Poliske directions has not changed significantly.

In other directions, Russia shelled military and civilian infrastructure from tanks, combat vehicles, barrel and jet artillery:

• In the Siverskyi direction, the occupiers shelled with mortars the settlements of Gai in the Chernihiv region and Volfyne, Zapsillia, Manukhivka and Stukalyvka in the Sumy region;
• In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy shelled Prudyanka, Chornoglazivka, Myronivka, Velyki Prohody, Ruska and Cherkaska Lozova, Ruska and Cherkaska Tyshki settlements;
• In the Slovyansk direction, invading Russian forces attacked the settlements of Slovyansk, Velyka Komyshuvakha, Dolyna, Krasnopillya, Dmytrivka, and Dovgenke;
• In the Kramatorsk direction, Russia shelled the areas of Tetyanivka, Kryva Luka, Spirne, Vesele, and Hryhorivka;
• In the Bakhmut direction, the occupiers shelled with mortars, tanks, barrel and rocket artillery the settlements of Bakhmutske, Soledar, Bakhmut, New York, Zaitseve, Vesela Dolyna, Mayorsk and Yakovlivka;
• In the Avdiivka direction, the Russian military shelled Avdiivka, Opytne, Vodyane, Tonenka, and Pervomaiske;
• Russians did not conduct active offensive operations in the Novopavlivskyi direction, but instead shelled Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Vugledar, Solodke, Shevchenko, Zolota Nyva, Pavlivka, and Vremivka;
• in the Zaporizhzhia direction, the occupiers shelled with mortars, barrel and rocket artillery Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka, Shcherbaky, Bilogirya, Novopil, Vilne Pole and Shevchenko settlements;
• In the Southern Bug direction, Russia shelled with barrel and jet artillery the entire contact line and conducted aerial reconnaissance with drones, making 34 combat flights.
