Vitaliy Barabash, the head of the Avdiivka Military and Civilian Administration, reported the information on Telegram.
"Four middle-aged people (all civilians) were killed this morning by an air-to-air missile attack on Avdiivka. At the time of the missile's impact, the people were in a shelter set up in a long-defunct railway hospital," he said.
Barabash emphasized that these are preliminary data. Two men and two women died.
"Unfortunately, there may be more victims. ... The enemy will not stop until they turn Avdiivka into a complete ruin, and these inhumans do not care about the local residents at all. Everyone is important to us! I insist on evacuation!" added the head of the administration.
