Russia launches 76 strikes on Sumy region, causing damage to buildings
Over December 2, the Russian army had launched 76 strikes on the Sumy region in the northeastern part of Ukraine bordering Russia
This was announced by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi.
Four communities of the Sumy region came under Russian shelling.
Russian troops hit the Seredyna-Buda community with mortars (1 attack) and self-propelled guns (22 attacks), resulting in no destruction. Russian troops launched explosives from a quadcopter on the Krasnopil community, no damage occured.
"Russian troops shelled the Znob-Nohorodske community with mortars of 120 mm caliber. Twenty one mines exploded on our territory. As a result of the shelling, the warehouses of a local household were damaged. Also, after 7:00 p. m., the same village was shelled simultaneously from MLRS (6 hits) and self-propelled guns ( 4 arrivals). No casualties," Zhyvytskyi writes.
Russian troops shelled the Bilopillia community with barrel artillery, resulting in 21 hits. No victims were reported.
