Russia launches 5 missile and 7 air strikes on Ukraine
On October 29, the invading Russian forces continued to terrorize Ukrainians. Russia has launched 5 missile and 7 air strikes on Ukraine’s territory so far, Ukraine's General Staff reports.
"The enemy continues shelling units of the Defense Forces along the contact line, puts up defence fortification lines in certain directions and conducts aerial reconnaissance. Russia strikes critical infrastructure and civilian residences, violating the norms of International Humanitarian Law. During the day, the enemy has launched 5 missile, 7 air strikes, and 29 MLRS attacks, " the report states.
Enemy strikes affected more than 15 settlements. Among them are Slovyansk and Siversk in the Donetsk region and Novooleksandrivka in the Kherson region.
The enemy shelled in other directions:
in the Siversky direction - from mortars, in the areas of Rozhkoyichi and Budky settlements of the Sumy region;
in the Slobozhansky direction - from mortars, barrel and rocket artillery, in the areas of Vovchansk, Veterynarne, Vilkhuvatka, Hatyshche, Hryhorivka, Dvorichna, Starytsa, Ohirtseve, Strilecha and Chuhunivka settlements;
in the Kupyansk and Lyman directions - from artillery of various types, in the areas of Kislivka,Tabainka, Berestove, Nevske, Olhivka, Novoyehorivka, and Yampolivka settlements;
in the Bakhmut direction - from tanks and the entire range of artillery, in the areas of Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Bilohorivka, Zvanivka, Siversk, Soledar, Zarichne, Odradivka, New York, Vasyukivka, and Serebryanka settlements;
in the Avdiivka direction - shellings in the areas of Avdiivka, Nevelske, Vesele, Vodyane, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Pervomaiske and Opytne settlements;
in the Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhia direction - from mortars, barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of Vuhledar, Velyka Novosilka, Hulyaipole, Vremivka, Zaliznychne, Pavlivka, Olhivske, and Chervone settlements.
in the South Buh direction - shelling from rocket and barrel artillery in Nikopol and Vyshchetarasivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
