Russia launches 41 airstrikes and 3 missile attacks, hitting civilian infrastructure

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on Facebook. 

Two out of three missile strikes were launched by the invading Russian forces at the civilian infrastructure of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region. The Russian enemy also launched MLRS attacks at the civilian infrastructure of the Donetsk and Kherson regions.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire line of contact, hitting over 20 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions. 

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the invading Russian forces shelled the areas of 6 settlements. 

In the Bakhmut direction, the areas of 10 settlements of the Donetsk region were subjected to enemy attacks.

In the Avdiivka and Vuhledar directions, the enemy fired with tanks, mortars and artillery at the areas of 10 settlements of the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian forces shelled the areas of 8 settlements. 

In the Kherson direction, hostile shelling affected the areas of 16 cities and villages. 

The Ukrainian Armed Forces hit Russian military positions, command posts, ammunition depots, and air defense positions. The Russian troops set up a crematorium to hide their losses.

“The enemy continues to suffer losses. In order to conceal the number of dead servicemen on the territory of the Prydniprovska Biotes enterprise in Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region, Russian invaders set up a mobile crematorium. Local residents complain about the constant cadaveric odour in the southeastern district of the town, especially at night,” the General Staff reports.

Since the beginning of the day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces aviation has launched 13 strikes on the Russian troops' military positions and 2 strikes on the positions of enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.

The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down 3 unmanned aerial vehicles: 2 of the Orlan-10 type and 1 of the Orion type.

Units of the missile forces and artillery destroyed 2 enemy control points, 2 areas of manpower concentration, a munitions depot and an enemy air defense position.
