Russia launches 3 missile and 12 air strikes on Ukraine in the last 24 hours

The General Staff of the Armed Forces reports on Facebook.

Russians try to hold temporarily captured territories, improve tactical position, concentrate efforts on restraining the actions of Ukrainian Defense Forces in certain directions, and at the same time conduct offensive actions in Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions.

"Russians shell positions of Ukrainian troops along the contact line and conduct aerial reconnaissance. They had launched missile and air strikes on the infrastructure and homes of civilian population, violating norms of International Humanitarian Law, the laws and customs of war", the message says.

In general, Russian occupying forces launched 3 missile and 12 air strikes, conducted more than 60 attacks from multiple missile systems in the last 24 hours.

Objects of civil infrastructure in Vugledar and Neskuchne in Donetsk region, Nova Kamianka in Kherson region and Mykolaiv were hit by Russian attacks.

There are no significant changes in the situation in the Volyn and Poliske directions.  There is still a threat of missile and air strikes against critical infrastructure of Ukraine from the territory of the Republic of Belarus, including the use of Iranian-made attack UAVs.

Russians shelled in other directions:

• in the Siverskyi direction - from mortars and barrel artillery in the areas of the settlements of Senkivka of the Chernihiv region and Rozhkovichi, Sosnivka and Velika Pisarivka of the Sumy region.

• in the Slobozhansk direction - from tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of Veterinarne, Vilkhuvatka, Vovchansk, Dvorichna, Kam'yanka, Krasne, Staritsa, Strelecha, Khatne and Chugunivka settlements of the Kharkiv region.

• In the Kupyansk and Lyman directions - from tanks and artillery in the areas of the settlements of Kislivka in the Kharkiv region, Nevske and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region, Berestov, Zarichne, Terny, Torske and Yampolivka in the Donetsk region.

• in the Bakhmut direction - from tanks, mortars, barrel and jet artillery in the areas of Andriivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Bilogorivka, Vesele, Ivangrad, Kurdyumivka, Mayorsk, Opytne, Soledar and Yakovlivka settlements of the Donetsk region.

• in the Avdiiivka direction - from tanks and various caliber artillery in the areas of Vodyane, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka and Pervomaiske settlements.

• in the Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhia directions - from tanks, mortars, barrel and jet artillery in the areas of the settlements of Vremivka, Vugledar, Neskuchne, Novosilka, Pavlivka of the Donetsk region and Zeleny Hay, Novoandriivka, Olhivske, Stepove, Chervone and Shcherbaky of the Zaporizhzhia region.

More than 20 settlements were damaged in the Southern Buh direction. Among them are Bilohirka, Davydiv Brid, Myrne, Sukhyi Stavok and Ternovi Pody.

• Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled Russian attacks in 10 settlements and conducted 30 airstrikes on Russian concentrations.
