Russia launches 2 missile and 11 airstrikes at Ukraine per day

This is reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the morning briefing on December 12.

In the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces have repelled Russian attacks near 3 settlements of the Luhansk region and 8 of the Donetsk region.

Russian troops launched 2 missile attacks on the civilian infrastructure of the city of Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, 11 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions along the contact line, and more than 60 MLRS attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Kherson city and the positions of Ukrainian troops.

On the border with Belarus, the situation is without significant changes, and there are no signs of the formation of Russian offensive groups near the northwestern Ukrainian border. Training of individual Russian units continues at the training grounds of the Republic of Belarus.

Near the northern and northeastern boarder of Ukraine 8 settlements of the Kharkiv region and 1 of the Donetsk region came under mortar and artillery fire. 

In the Kupiansk and Lyman direction Russia shelled 4 settlements of the Kharkiv region, 5 of the Luhansk region and 4 other of the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions of the Donetsk region, Russia is on the offensive. Its troops shelled from tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery 24 settlements. They also launched airstrikes at Spirne and Bilohorivka.

In the Vuhledar direction of the Donetsk region, Russian forces shelled 3 settlements of the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian forces shelled 9 settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region and 1 of the Donetsk region.

In the Kherson direction, Russia shelled 4 settlements of the region and Kherson city.
