Russia launches 12 missile attacks, 32 airstrikes per day, seizes Ukrainian homes in Kherson region

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on Facebook. 

The Russian army has launched 12 missile strikes, 32 airstrikes and 90 MLRS attacks against Ukraine 

The Russian forces continue to focus their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Vuhledar directions.

Thus, the enemy is actively using tactical and army aviation to strike at the Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions. 

“During the day, the enemy launched 12 missile attacks, 3 of which targeted civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv, and 32 air strikes, 6 of which involved the use of Shahed-136 UAVs - 4 of these drones were shot down. The enemy also launched more than 90 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems. The threat of further Russian air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine remains high,” the General Staff reported.

During the day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russian attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka and Serebrianka forestry in the Luhansk region and Torske, Fedorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivka, Chasiv Yar, Pervomaiske, Marinka and Vuhledar in the Donetsk region.

At the same time, Ukrainian aviation launched 19 strikes on the Russian troops' military positions, as well as 2 strikes on the positions of anti-aircraft missile systems.

“Our defenders also shot down a Su-25 aircraft and an Orlan UAV. Missile and artillery units hit 14 areas of enemy manpower concentration and an anti-aircraft missile system,” the military said.

Invading Russian forces take away housing from local residents in Kherson

The 'local administration' in Brylivka and Novokyivka in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region is attempting to "appropriate" the local residents' houses. 

“In particular, members of the occupying Russian forces are actively going door-to-door and checking citizens for residence permits and documents of ownership. Abandoned houses are sealed with notices stating that the premises have become the property of the so-called 'local administration'” the press service said.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire line of contact, hitting over 20 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the invading Russian forces fired mortars and artillery at more than 25 settlements. 

In the Bakhmut direction, tank, mortar and artillery fire hit the areas of more than 25 settlements in the Donetsk region. 

In the Avdiivka and Vuhledar directions, 25 settlements of the Donetsk region came under tank, mortar and artillery fire. 

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, 8 settlements came under fire. 

In the Kherson direction, Russian artillery hit the suburbs and Kherson itself, as well as areas of more than 30 other towns and villages.
