Russia launches 10 missile strikes, 6 of them on Kupiansk, Ukrainian aviation hits Russian military positions

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on February 17.

In addition, the Russian enemy launched 10 airstrikes and over 10 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems. 

The Russian Federation continued shelling the entire border area: one settlement in the Chernihiv region, 9 settlements of the Sumy region, as well as 10 villages in the Kharkiv region were attacked.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the Russian enemy shelled 10 settlements. Enemy forces also launched several airstrikes on 7 more settlements. 

In the Bakhmut direction, over 15 settlements of the Donetsk region were attacked. 

In the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions, 17 settlements were subjected to enemy fire. 

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, over 20 settlements were hit. 

In the Kherson direction, the suburbs and the city of Kherson, as well as areas of more than 25 settlements, were affected by enemy artillery fire. 

It is also noted that the Russian enemy continues to suffer losses.

“For example, in the village of Kalanchak, Kherson region, the occupying Russian forces converted a district hospital into a military one  and brought 36 killed and 18 wounded servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces,” the report says.

The General Staff also reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces' aviation launched 5 strikes on the invading Russian troops' military positions, as well as 1 strike on the position of an anti-aircraft missile system.
