Russia keeps 4 missile carriers in Black Sea, carrying up to 24 Kalibr missiles
As of March 6, 4 Russian missile carriers on duty in the Black Sea, potentially carrying up to 24 Kalibr cruise missiles on board
Natalia Humeniuk, head of the joint coordination center of Ukraine’s South Defense Forces, shared the information on the United News nation telethon.
"There are 4 missile carriers on duty. This may indicate there are 24 Kalibr missiles on board, but we do not guarantee that all carriers are fully equipped, as they say, to the hilt," she said.
At the same time, the presence of the missile carriers at sea does not necessarily mean preparations for a massive shelling, as the Russian army has already realized their ineffectiveness and is trying to come up with other tactics.
"In recent weeks, there have been no observations of Kalibrs’ launch, but this may just indicate that they are up to something," noted Humeniuk.
