Russia is trying to circumvent sanctions with Turkey's help - US Treasury 

This is reported by the US Treasury Department.

U.S. deputy secretary of the treasury Adewale Adeyemo said this during a meeting with Turkish Deputy Finance Minister Yunus Elitaş.

"Adeyemo expressed concern that Russian organizations and individuals are trying to use Turkey to evade sanctions imposed by the United States and 30 other countries," the US Treasury said in a statement.

The U.S. Treasury Department said government officials met to discuss efforts to implement and enforce sanctions against Russia.
