Russia install barges to protect Crimea bridge, satellite images show
On Wednesday, 30 August, media reported that the occupying Russian forces had installed barges to protect the Crimea bridge from marine drones

This was reported by Radio Liberty with reference to satellite images from the Planet.com service.
High-resolution satellite images show that barges have been installed south of the Crimea bridge. It is noted that the water depth in this area is from 2 to 4 meters, so it is possible that they were just partially submerged.
The journalists suggest that these barges could be used as the baRadio Liberty sis for a barrier against Ukrainian maritime drones.

According to the military, the Crimea bridge is currently often closed and opened, and does not work at full capacity.
