Russia increases helicopter fleet for Ukraine to 360

This was announced by the spokesman of the Air Force Command of Ukraine's Armed Forces, Yurii Ignat, at a briefing on August 16.

According to the message, the Russian Federation has increased the number of enemy helicopters, currently there are about 360 helicopters around the borders of Ukraine.

"The adversary has the opportunity to replenish its ranks by bringing aviation equipment from the middle of the country. There are slightly fewer planes today: about 430 enemy units are located around the Ukrainian borders at various airfields in Belarus, Russia, as well as Crimea. But the group of helicopters has grown to about 360 helicopters", he said. 

According to Ignat, at the beginning of February, there were about 700 aircraft around our country: 400 airplanes and 250 helicopters. Ukraine's Air Force and the Defense Forces have destroyed a lot of Russian aircraft.
