According to the company's president, Ryszard Florek, on September 19, kamikaze drones hit the Lviv plant of Fakro company. A fire broke out at the plant.
"It is difficult to estimate the damage at the moment. There were two thousand windows in the warehouse. One window costs a thousand zlotys, which means losses of two million zlotys. If we include the cost of the premises, it amounts to PLN 10 million," said Ryszard Florek.
He also noted that none of the company's employees were injured in the attack.
"We keep in touch with our employees and management. We show them our support," added the Fakro president. He also clarified that the company does not expect any compensation, as insurance is not available during the war.
On the night of Tuesday, September 19, the Russian occupiers launched Shahed drones across Ukraine. In particular, three hits to industrial warehouses were recorded in Lviv, resulting in one death and several injuries. The fire destroyed 3 warehouses with windows, household chemicals, and a room where the Caritas charity mission stored humanitarian aid.
