Russia hits Kharkiv's critical infrastructure facilities, woman injured.
Russian forces shelled Kharkiv with rockets in the morning of July 3. A critical infrastructure facility and private housing have been hit. The 54-year-old owner of the house was injured.
Oleg Sinegubov, the Governor of Kharkiv region, shared information on Telegram.
"Today, residents of Kharkiv woke up at 4 a.m. thanks to Russian troops`rocket attacks. Russia hit one of the critical infrastructure facilities in the Kyiv district in the morning.”
Russia also hit private home ownership in the Novobavarskiy district of the city. Windows were blown out in a nearby house and school. The owner of the house, a 54-year-old woman, was injured and hospitalized in a medical institution, her condition is average," Sinegubov wrote.
Russian troops also shelled the Kharkiv, Bogodukhiv and Izyum districts of the region during the past day. In Chuguyiv Oblast, Russian invaders shelled farm buildings, garages, and open areas. There were fires in places.
It is known that four residents of the region were injured: one person in Kharkiv, two in Chuguyiv district and one more in Kharkiv district.
"Ukrainian defenders are holding defensive positions. In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian forces are trying to defend the previously occupied positions. The districts of Ruska Lozova, Peremoha, Verkhniy Saltov, Zamulivka, Volobuyvka, Pytomnik, Prudyanka were shelled with artillery," added the head of the region.
