Russia hits Avdiyivka with bombs, artillery fire injuring 3 civilians, damaging 20 houses and kindergarten

The British Defense Ministry shared their regular report on Twitter.

"In the first three months of its 'special military operation,' Russia has likely suffered a similar death toll to that experienced by the Soviet Union during its nine year war in Afghanistan", stressed the intelligence.

The combination of poor tactics, low air cover, lack of flexibility, and team approach that can enhance failures led to such losses, which during the offensive in eastern Ukraine continued to grow.

"The Russian public has, in the past, proven sensitive to casualties suffered during wars of choice. As casualties suffered in Ukraine continue to rise they will become more apparent, and public dissatisfaction with the war and a willingness to voice it may grow," noted the Defense Ministry.
