Russia has destroyed more than 152,000 residential buildings, 60,000 infrastructure facilities since launching full-scale invasion
During the full-scale invasion, Russia has shelled Ukraine over 40,500 times, destroying more than 152,000 residential buildings and over 60,000 infrastructure facilities
The head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, shared the information.
"Along with residential buildings, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian missile strikes have destroyed more than 60,000 public infrastructure facilities," Klymenko said.
He added that 66,300 criminal proceedings have been opened regarding crimes committed by Russian military personnel. About 80% of them are violations of the laws and customs of war.
According to Klymenko, these crimes are being documented and handed over to Ukraine’s Security Service for further investigation and bringing Russian war criminals to justice. The documented crimes are also transferred to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, which prepares materials for international courts based on them.
"We are preparing materials for international courts to consider these cases of war crimes on the territory of our country in the future," the minister emphasized.
