Russia has built modern information fascism – Zelenskyy
Ukraine’s president says that sometimes disinformation works harder than weapons on the battlefield
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an interview with Finnish, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian journalists on Saturday, April 29, 2023.
"This is a modern war. There has never been a hybrid of this scale, I mean the use of various technologies. It's not just weapons, we are fighting cyber attacks, disinformation. Sometimes disinformation works harder than weapons on the battlefield. This is a difficult war in which Ukraine must win," the President of Ukraine emphasised.
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, if Ukraine does not win, the entire civilised world will lose.
"Russia has a plan. Russians are "driven into a corridor" in which they have been living since the Soviet Union. They (the Russian leadership - ed.) have driven people into this information corridor, and people have blinders on, like a horse. They (Russians - ed.) simply believe in this modern information fascism, which was built by Russia," the President of Ukraine emphasized.
