Russia has attacked 10 regions of Ukraine overnight: 2 people killed, 7 wounded
Over the past day, August 2, the Russian army struck ten regions of Ukraine, killing two people and wounding 7. On August 2, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions were attacked by Russia
In the Sumy region in northeastern Ukraine, Russia attacked 35 settlements over the past day. Zaporizhzhia region in the south experienced 80 attacks. A 58-year-old woman was killed in Preobrazhenka as a result of Russian artillery shelling. There were also 42 reports of the destruction of residential buildings, warehouses, commercial premises and infrastructure.
One more person was killed in Donetsk region and 5 were wounded as a result of Russian shelling. Also, 18 residential buildings were damaged, 6 of which were apartment buildings.
In the Dnipropetrovs'k region, Russians fired three times at Nikopol and the Marhanets community with heavy artillery. Two private houses and power lines were damaged in the town.
Kharkiv region is suffering from Russian aviation, artillery and mortar attacks. 17 settlements came under enemy fire. A remote-controlled tractor exploded in the village of Yavirske, Izium district. It was clearing a field of mines.

On the morning of August 3, Russians fired twice at Kherson with artillery. At least 3 trolleybus passengers and 4 rescuers were injured in the attack. For the second time, Russia attacked St. Catherine's Cathedral when rescuers were putting out a fire.
