Russia focuses on offensive in 4 directions - AFU General Staff

This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the morning report on December 13.

In other directions, the enemy is trying to prevent the advance of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, shelling the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian objects along the entire contact line, equipping defence lines and positions.

Russia continues its armed aggression against Ukraine, does not stop striking civilian population and infrastructure facilities, violating the norms of international humanitarian law, laws and customs of warfare.

Over the day, the enemy launched 7 missile strikes, 5 of them at the civilian infrastructure of Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, and 79 MLRS attacks at the city of Kherson. There are casualties among civilians.

The threat of missile strikes by the Russian forces on the energy system and critical infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine remains.

On the border with Belarus, the situation is without significant changes, and there are no signs of the formation of Russian offensive groups near the northern Ukrainian border. Training of individual Russian units continues at the training grounds of the Republic of Belarus.

Over the past day, the enemy launched mortar and artillery shelling on 2 settlements of the Sumy region and 10 of the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops shelled 4 settlements of the Kharkiv region and 4 of the Luhansk region.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces shelled from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery at 3 settlements of the Donetsk region and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region.

In the Bakhmut direction of the Donetsk region, Russian troops fired from tanks and artillery of various types at 13 settlements.

In the Avdiivka direction of the Donetsk region, Russian soldiers fired from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery at approximately 20 settlements.

In the Vuhledar direction of the Donetsk region, Russian troops shelled 5 settlements of the region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian troops fired from tanks and the entire range of artillery at Vremivka, Donetsk region, and 14 settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, Russian forces fired mortar and artillery at the settlements of Kherson region bordering the contact line. Antonivka, Chornobaivka and Kherson city suffered the most.
