Russia fires missiles at Ukraine again, injuring 8 civilians and destroying houses in Cherkasy region
Russia continues to terrorise Ukraine, in the afternoon of Friday, December 29, Russia attacked Cherkasy region

The town of Smila, Cherkasy region, was hit by a new Russian air attack. According to preliminary information, 6 people were injured, one in serious condition. Also, dozens of private houses were damaged.
“Russian missile hit private houses. All emergency services and authorities are working on the spot. People are being promptly helped. All houses will be repaired and restored," the statement said.
Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the number of victims had increased.
"Preliminary, eight people were injured, including one child. Also, 51 private houses were damaged," the statement said.
It was added that rescuers continue to inspect the destroyed buildings.
The missile strike occurred between 14:46 and 15:50, when an air alert was announced in Cherkasy region and the Air Force reported the movement of missiles.
- On the night of December 29, Russia launched several groups of Shahed drones to attack Ukraine, and in the morning, terrorists launched missiles. Russia hit high-rise buildings, educational institutions, a shopping centre and a maternity hospital. More than 100 people were wounded and 22 killed.
